World creations of 7 works for ensemble on the 7 days of Creation according to Genesis.

Genesis is a manifesto of one of the essential missions of the Ensemble since its foundation: the creation. Matthias Pintscher, musical director of the Ensemble intercontemporain, had the idea to propose to seven composers to create each one from one of the 7 days of Creation according to the biblical account of Genesis. An original theme, and perhaps a little daunting, which allows them to give their own vision of the creative process: creation ex nihilo, renewal or extrapolation of material already existing, etc.
